Today was another rainy day to chill out. We decided to check out Kalispell, another nearby town. First we shopped at Cabela’s Outpost then had lunch at McKenzie River Brewing. We has excellent pizza there. Afterwards we hit a few more stores before heading back to the coach. On the way back we looked around the log furniture store. Nice rustic furniture but really pricey. Also on the way back we drove to the nearby Hungry Horse Dam. The dam is over 500ft high and sits in a narrow steep canyon. The dam itself wasn’t very interesting but the river that flows from it was really neat with lots of unique rock formations and rapids.
